Window and door contact

The Homematic IP window and door contact reliably monitors the windows and doors in your smart home. It detects the status of doors and windows via an infrared light barrier.

The sensor performs several functions: When airing, it automatically regulates the heat supply by reporting to the radiator thermostat when a window or an outside door is opened. In this way, the radiator valve can be closed when the window is open to save energy and unnecessary costs. In addition, the sensor monitors access to your four walls. If a window is opened without authorization, it activates the siren and sends you a push message via the Homematic IP app to alert you to possible dangers in your home.

Suitable for many windows and doors: The sensor only requires a minimum distance of 15 mm between frame and sash.
