The Homematic IP presence sensor detects even the smallest movements indoors. Even typing on a keyboard or leafing through a book can initiate an action by the presence detector: Imagine entering your bathroom in the dark and the sensor automatically signals to lower the shutters and turn on the lights. This way you don't have to worry about having enough privacy. The sensor automatically adapts to the ambient conditions. Thus, the detection sensitivity remains constant even at high room temperatures and fluctuating light conditions.

An integrated sabotage contact protects against unwanted changes to the presence detector after installation by sending a notification via the Homematic IP app if the sensor unit is removed. The battery-powered detector is easily mounted with the included screws and dowels.

Precise presence detection: The detection range of the presence sensor is up to 3.5 m with a mounting height of 2.7 m and a detection angle of about 105°.
Twilight sensor: In addition to motion detection, the integrated twilight sensor detects the ambient brightness to trigger actions only in darkness.
