The Homematic IP shutter actuator makes automated control of shutters and awnings with wired tubular motors easy. Once set up, you can define individual weekly profiles that can even be adjusted to sunrise and sunset. In combination with the Homematic IP app and other components, you can also set up lockout, storm and heat protection. Imagine that an unexpected storm front comes up while you are not at home. If you have activated storm protection, your shutter actuators will receive a signal and automatically lower to protect your home from strong winds and possible damage.
